Managing Multiple Screens

Assign different playlists to different screens. Main hall, entrance, women's section — each with its own content.

Overview

Many masjids have several display screens: main prayer hall, entrance foyer, women’s section, and sometimes a separate area for children. Each screen can show different content — or the same content, if you prefer consistency.

On the Growth plan, you can have up to 10 screens. Each screen can have its own playlist and its own schedule. This guide assumes you have multiple screens; if you have only one, see the section at the end.

Assigning Playlists to Screens

  1. 1

    Go to My Screens

In the admin dashboard, click Screens My Screens. You will see all paired screens with their status (online, offline, pairing).
  2. 2

    Select a screen

Click the screen you want to configure. You can also assign playlists from the Playlists page by selecting a playlist and choosing which screens to assign it to.
  3. 3

    Choose a playlist

Select the playlist that should appear on this screen. If you have scheduling (Growth+), you can set a default playlist and add time slots. Otherwise, this single playlist runs all the time.
  4. 4

    Save

The screen will receive the new content within seconds if it is online.

Same vs different content

Use the same playlist on multiple screens when you want consistency (e.g. main hall and entrance both show prayer times and verses). Use different playlists when location matters — e.g. women’s section with event reminders, entrance with donation QR and announcements.

Per-Screen Scheduling

On the Growth plan, each screen can have its own schedule. The main hall might switch to a Jumuah playlist on Fridays, while the entrance keeps the general playlist. Configure schedules from the Scheduling page.

Screens are independent: changing one screen’s playlist or schedule does not affect the others.

Checking Screen Status

The My Screens page shows each screen’s status:

  • Online — Connected and receiving updates
  • Offline — Not connected (Wi-Fi, power, or pairing issue)
  • Pairing — Waiting for you to complete pairing in the admin

Rename screens and add locations (e.g. "Main Hall", "Entrance") so you can identify them quickly. This helps when you have several screens and need to troubleshoot or change content.

If You Have Fewer Screens

Free plan

The Free plan includes 1 screen only. This guide is for managing multiple screens. To add more, upgrade to Starter (3 screens) or Growth (10 screens).

Starter plan (3 screens)

You can assign one playlist per screen. Each of your three screens can show different content. You do not have time-based scheduling — swap playlists manually when needed.

Growth plan (10 screens)

Full flexibility: up to 10 screens, each with its own playlist and schedule. No manual swaps needed if you use scheduling.
