Why masjids are swapping the notice board for a screen
A paper notice needs someone to print it, pin it up and take it down again. An LED prayer clock shows the five times and nothing else. A TV screen is easy to read from the back of the hall and can be changed from anywhere.
MasjidConnect is made for masjids, so the screen already knows about azan, jamaat, Jumu'ah and Ramadan. Your volunteers only add the notices.
What you can put on the screens
Every screen shows your start and jamaat times, a countdown to the next jamaat and the Hijri date. Around them runs a playlist of slides: posters, events, a hadith, or an appeal with a QR code. The Free plan has one playlist of up to five slides.
With a Masjid licence you can have as many playlists as you like and set them to change on their own, such as a Jumu'ah playlist on Fridays and a Ramadan one for the month. When something can't wait, like a car blocking the main gate or a janazah after Zuhr, an urgent message goes full screen on every TV at once. Nobody has to stop the bayan to read it out.
The screens can run on TVs you already own. Our Display Unit (£189) plugs into any TV with HDMI and keeps going if the Wi-Fi drops. If you would rather not fit them yourselves, we supply and fit the screens and quote for your building.

Mosque digital signage questions
What is mosque digital signage?
Mosque digital signage means TV screens around the masjid that show prayer times, notices, events and appeals in place of paper posters. With MasjidConnect a volunteer changes them from a phone or laptop, and every screen follows.
Can we use a TV we already own?
Yes. Any TV with an HDMI port works with our £189 Display Unit, and a smart TV can use its own web browser. If we fit the screens for you and you want to keep your own TVs, we mount them and don't charge for the TVs.
Is a screen better than an LED prayer clock?
It depends on the room. An LED clock shows the five times and suits a small room that only needs those. A screen is easier to read from the back of the hall, and it can also show a countdown, the Hijri date, notices and appeals, all changed from your phone.
Can we send a janazah or urgent message quickly?
Yes, with the Masjid licence. Write the message on your phone, press send, and it goes full screen on every TV you choose. It stays for the time you set, from 5 minutes to 2 hours, then the screens go back to normal. It isn't on the Free plan.
Can each screen show something different?
Yes. Each screen can have its own layout and playlist, so the main hall can run portrait and the entrance landscape. You choose the colours and, with a licence, add your logo. Free includes one screen, the Masjid licence 10, and the Network licence has no limit.
Can we schedule slides for Ramadan, Eid or weekly classes?
Yes, with the Masjid licence. Playlists can switch on their own on set dates, on certain days of the week, or around prayer times, so a class poster can show between Maghrib and Isha only.
Can we show donation appeals on the screens?
Yes. Add an appeal slide with a QR code and the amount raised so far, so people can give from their phone while they read the screen. Online giving is on every plan, with a fee of 2.5% on Free or 1% on a paid licence, plus card fees.
How much does mosque digital signage cost?
One screen is free. The Masjid licence is £25 a month or £499 once for up to 10 screens, and the Network licence is £50 a month or £999 once with no limit on screens. The Display Unit is £189, without a TV. If you want us to fit the screens, we quote for your building.
