Two places to change the look
- Screen Layouts decide how a screen is arranged and coloured. Each layout has a landscape and a portrait design, and you choose which screens use it.
- Display Defaults are settings for every screen, such as the time format, what shows during jamaat and the Ramadan look.
Screens without their own layout use the Built-in layout, the standard MasjidConnect look. You don't have to make a layout at all.
Make a layout
- 1
Open Screens then Screen Layouts, and press New layout
- 2
Give it a name
For example "Main hall".
- 3
Choose Wide (landscape) or Tall (portrait) to start with
The layout still holds both designs.
- 4
Choose a look to start from
Classic, Quiet or Heritage, or open More looks for others, such as large text or a big area for posters.
The editor opens with a live preview on the left. Click any part of the preview to jump to its settings.
What you can change
- Content: turn prayer times, slides, the clock and dates, Jumu'ah times and the countdown on or off. Choose whether to show jamaat times and sunrise.
- Style · Colours: background colour or a picture or video from your library, plus colours for text and the prayer times. Leave a colour blank to keep the standard one.
- Masjid logo: show the logo from your masjid details, in the footer or a top corner, small, medium or large.
- Advanced adjustments: block sizes, spacing, order and text size.
Press Screen shape at the top to switch between the landscape and portrait design. Press Save when you're happy. Screens using the layout change straight away.
Which plan
The Free plan has one custom layout and no logo on screen. The Masjid licence has up to 10 layouts with your logo. The Network licence has no limit.

- 1
On Screen Layouts, press Assign to screens on the layout
- 2
