Add an announcement

   Press Add an announcement on the Dashboard

   Or open Playlists, then Slides, press New slide and choose Announcement.

   Type your announcement

   Keep it short. People read it from across the hall. You can change the text size and alignment.

   Choose a Category

   General, Prayer, Community, Emergency, Maintenance or Other. Turn on Mark as urgent to make it stand out more on screen.

   Decide about the Community app

   Notify in Community app is on to start with. It sends a notification to everyone who follows your masjid in the app. Turn it off if the notice is only for people in the masjid.

   Choose how long it shows each time, then save

   Add it to a playlist

   Press Add to Playlist on its card and pick the playlist your screens play. Until you do this it won't appear on screens.

• Every announcement you make also shows in your masjid's announcements in the Community app, whether or not you sent a notification.
• The notification is only sent once, when you first save the announcement. Editing it later doesn't send another.
• Tapping the notification opens the announcement in the app.

To take an announcement off on its own, open it in the Slides tab and set Take it off screens after to its last day. Or take it out of the playlist, or delete it in the Slides tab to remove it everywhere.

To show an announcement only for a few days, put it in its own playlist and schedule that playlist with a date range. See Change what screens show at set times.
