Set up a course

  1. 1

Open Programs & Education and press New course

  2. 2

    Details

Type the Course title, a short description, what the course covers and the class times. Set Visibility to Public for anyone, or Unlisted (link only) if only people with the link should find it.

  3. 3

    Classes

Choose how parents pay: Free, External pay link (such as a SumUp payment link) or Offline / bank transfer. Then press Add class for each group, for example "Boys 7 to 10, Saturday", with its capacity. Turn Enrollment open on for classes taking new students.

  4. 4

    Form

Add any extra questions you want parents to answer, your terms, and the message they see after signing up.

  5. 5

    Review

Press Publish course, or Save as draft to finish later.

Take care

Don't choose Members only. Members don't have logins, so nobody can open a Members only course to sign up.

Get people to sign up

  • On the course page, press Copy enrollment link and share it.
  • Put it on your screens: in Playlists → Slides make a Course slide. It shows the course with a QR code to sign up, and can show how many places are left. See Make slides and playlists.

Courses don't appear in the Community app yet.

Keep track of who has paid

MasjidConnect doesn't take course fees itself. Parents pay through your pay link, by bank transfer or in person. New sign-ups for a paid course show as Awaiting payment.

  1. 1

Open the course and find the student in the enrolments list

  2. 2

When they've paid, press Mark as paid

Use the Payment filter to see who still owes. Press Add to members to copy a family into your members list.

Good to know

If you edit a Course slide later, only its title and timing change. To change anything else, delete the slide and make a new one.
