Change the times for one day

On a phone

  1. 1

Tap Prayer times at the bottom of the screen

You see one week. Use the arrows to move between weeks.

  2. 2

Tap the day you want to change

  3. 3

Change the Adhan or Jamaat time and tap Save changes

On a computer

  1. 1

On Prayer Times, press Edit above the calendar

  2. 2

Click the day you want to change

A small box opens with the adhan and jamaat time for each prayer.

  3. 3

Change the time and press Save

When you're finished, press Save on the bar above the calendar to leave edit mode.

Screens and the Community app pick up a single-day change within seconds.

Good to know

A day you've changed by hand is marked as edited. Seasonal rules and timetable uploads leave edited days alone unless you tell them otherwise, so your change won't be overwritten by accident.

Set jamaat times for a season

If your jamaat times follow a pattern, such as Isha at 8:00 pm all winter or Maghrib five minutes after the adhan, set it up once as a congregation schedule.

  1. 1

On Prayer Times, open the Congregation Times section and press Create Schedule

  2. 2

Give it a name and dates

For example "Winter", from 26 October to 28 March. Leave Rounding on Nearest 5 Minutes unless you want exact times.

  3. 3

    Set each prayer

Turn on Include for the prayers this schedule should change. Choose Fixed time and type the time, or After Adhan and type the number of minutes. Prayers you leave out keep whatever times they already have.

  4. 4

    Press Create Schedule

  5. 5

Press Apply Schedule next to it

Making a schedule doesn't change any times on its own. Applying it writes the jamaat times into each day in its date range.

To apply all your schedules at once, press Apply All Periods, choose the dates and press Apply Periods. Days you changed by hand are skipped unless you tick Overwrite manually edited jamaat times.

Good to know

Screens pick up schedule changes overnight. To see them straight away, go to Screens then My Screens and press Restart on each screen.

Which plan

The Free plan has one congregation schedule. The Masjid and Network licences have as many as you need.

Ramadan and other special times

Make another congregation schedule called "Ramadan" with Ramadan's dates and your Ramadan jamaat times. Give it a higher Priority than your normal schedule, for example 10, so it wins on the days they overlap. Then apply it.

Your screens switch to their Ramadan look on their own, based on the Islamic date. You can turn this on or off in Screens then Display Defaults, under Ramadan Mode.

When the clocks change

Start times move with the clocks automatically. Fixed jamaat times don't, because they are fixed. Three weeks before the clocks go back or forward, the Dashboard reminds you to check. Usually the fix is to make sure your winter and summer schedules start on the right dates and are applied.

Put things back after a mistake

Before every upload, and before the wizard replaces existing times, the portal saves a copy. Press Undo last change at the top of the Prayer Times page, then Restore snapshot, to go back to how things were.

Undo doesn't cover changes to single days or applying schedules. Fix those by changing the day again or re-applying the right schedule.
